REIKI
'The Ultimate in Natural Healing'
Energy For Life
A Reiki treatment involves the placing of the
hands on the body in a passive way. The position is changed
about every five minutes and the usual treatment lasts
for about one hour. A one hour Reiki treatment provides
one physiologically with the benefits equivalent to 3
to 4 hours sleep, such as increased oxygen supply to the
blood and cells. This clinical observation, combined with
the meditative state, makes Reiki a most effective natural
stress reliever.
Reiki is not a form of massage as the hands
remain still and Reiki can be given through clothing.
During the treatment most patients experience a gentle
warmth or tingling coming from the practitioner’s
hands. Although an ancient energy system Reiki correlates
with modern quantum physics principles by utilising the
mechanism of HARMONICS or Mirror Imaging and is neither
a cult, religion nor dependent on belief system.
Because Reiki involves the use of unpolarised energy
it does not clash with any other healing system. Reiki
greatly enhances the positive affects of other therapies
(e.g. Chemotherapy, Homeopathy, Chiropractic, Acupuncture,
Meditation). This is one of the reasons why it
is so readily accepted by other disciplines. Reiki can
be used either on its own or as a complementary adjunct
to other conventional systems.
Seriously ill patients can continue to receive orthodox
Medical attention and use Reiki to maximize their chances
of recovery. Reiki often reduces the side effects of drugs,
chemotherapy etc. Besides the obvious use in serious illness,
Reiki actively promotes the healing process in many other
areas. Sports injuries, cuts, burns, internal diseases,
emotional disorders and stress related illnesses are all
dramatically helped through the use of Reiki.
Regular
use of Reiki leads to an increase in general vitality
and well-being and a sense of inner peace. It greatly
accelerates and promotes the healing process and regeneration
of tissue. Further, it is capable of improving the quality
of one's life to an amazing degree.
Another important use is to promote Personal Growth as
Reiki increases intuitive, intellectual and creative processes
and has a similar physiological and psychological effect
on the body to meditation. Reiki is also particularly
effective in the treatment of plants, animals and food.
This fact demonstrates that Reiki is not reliant on belief
or psychosomatic effect.
